The project was implemented under the Central Government's Rooftop Solar Programme with support from the World Bank through the Global Environment Facility Fund. AMPIN Energy Transition secured the project through Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited's first-ever Solar Rooftop Tender under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model. This marked an important milestone for both the state's renewable energy initiatives and AMPIN's growing portfolio of large-scale clean energy projects.

The successful execution demonstrated the effectiveness of innovative public-private partnerships in expanding India's solar ecosystem.

Delivering Rooftop Solar Across Multiple Campuses

As part of the project, AMPIN Energy Transition installed 1.2 MW of rooftop solar capacity across five educational institutions in Madhya Pradesh, contributing to the overall 2.25 MW programme.

The installations were spread across prominent cities including Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Gwalior, serving renowned institutions such as:

Each rooftop installation was carefully designed to integrate with the institutions' existing infrastructure while enabling efficient solar power generation.
